The Opticstar/Ascension ED eyepieces are ideal for observing all types of astronomical objects, from the moon and the planets to nebulas and galaxies. Special ED glass is used in two out of the six elements minimising chromatic aberrations.

The latest generation of these ED eyepieces use broadband fully multi-coated optics that provide excellent image brightness and contrast while internal reflection effects are kept to a minimum. All eyepieces in the range are parfocal. Long eye relief makes these eyepieces a pleasure to use and are highly recommended for people that wear spectacles.
