The Opticstar/Ascension Super Plossl eyepieces use the proven 4-element Plossl design and are ideal for general observation including deep-sky and planetary viewing. Suitable for all types of telescopes with standard 1.25" drawtubes.

The optics consist of two sets of doublets that offer a 52-degree Apparent Field of View (AFOV) at all focal lengths. These quality eyepieces feature full multi-coated (FMC) optics for greatest light transmission and contrast. Blackened lens edges and internal anti-reflection threads increase contrast that little bit extra by minimising internal light scatter to deliver maximum detail for this design.
